Quitaro Consumer Health Data Notice
Effective date: October 1, 2026
This notice supplements the Quitaro Privacy Policy and applies to information that may be treated as consumer health data under state law. It is not medical advice. Quitaro is intended for adults 18 and older.
Health-related information we collect
Quitaro may handle the cigarette-spend estimate you enter, daily check-in responses, relapse or restart reports, missed-check-in status, run dates, and related progress states. These data can reveal tobacco use, cessation efforts, or an inference about health or lifestyle. We collect them when you provide them or when the app calculates a state from your use. Most are stored locally; random invite identifiers and invite transaction data are sent to the invite service only for invite operation.
Purposes and consent
We use this information to provide run, restart, check-in, progress, trial, purchase-entitlement, and 60-day friend-entry features; protect the Service; respond to support; comply with law; and, only after separate affirmative consent, measure optional product analytics. The optional analytics may receive limited event labels that a check-in or relapse was recorded, but not the answer, amount, free text, or invite code. Core access is not conditioned on analytics consent.
We do not sell consumer health data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to determine eligibility for insurance, credit, employment, housing, or healthcare. We do not implement geofences around health-care facilities.
Disclosures
We may disclose consumer health data to service providers needed to host, secure, operate, and support Quitaro; to PostHog only for the limited consented analytics described above; to Google Play for purchase entitlement; when you direct us; or when legally required. 4etverg’s charitable giving is its own activity; no consumer health data is disclosed to a charity for that activity. We do not sell or offer to sell consumer health data.
State-law commitments
We provide the notices, consent controls, deletion process, and other rights required by applicable Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and Connecticut consumer-health-data provisions. Any consent to collect or share is separate from any authorization that would be required to sell data; we do not sell data and therefore do not request such authorization. We do not condition access on consent to optional analytics. We will honor authenticated access, correction, deletion, portability, and appeal requests where applicable, subject to lawful exceptions.
Choices, retention, and contact
You may withdraw analytics consent in the app. Email support@4etverg.com to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or a copy of applicable data, or to ask a question. We retain data only as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, security, abuse prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when feasible. This notice may change with a new effective date.
We do not knowingly collect consumer health data from children under 13. Quitaro is intended for adults 18 and older.
